Morwenna Spagnol

Morwenna Spagnol and Kasper Klop are an artistic duo. Their practice mixes theater, puppetry, video, social action and site-specific work.

Morwenna and Kasper debate and conduct research on subjects that are fundamental to them. This culminates into co-written projects on three major topics:

1) The silent tortures of identity and sex impinging on the individual, on their body, their mind and their free will.

2) Justice at the intersection of the traces of history and the rights acquired by human beings in today’s society.

3) Quests in which we face challenges and go beyond the forbidden in order to allow ourselves a new freedom.

Morwenna and Kasper’s work has been seen at Rattlestick Theater for the Global Forms Theater Festival, Collab NYC, The Tank NYC, Summerhall (Edinburgh), Voila Europe Theatre Festival (London) and on the streets of Paris.

anonymous ensemble

| September 2022

Anonymous Ensemble was founded in 2001 and has developed new work every year since. Anonymous Ensemble creates new theater, performance media, and live film. Incorporating original texts, music, rituals, and technologies, they foster intimate experiences between local and digitally global communities. By giving voice and agency to audiences and collaborators, they celebrate the complexity of the human condition through collective storytelling.

They have presented work throughout New York City and the United States, as well as Greece, England, Scotland, Norway, Germany, and Australia, and value creating community wherever they are. Anonymous Ensemble asks how the audience can be co-creators of each performance event.
